POPL rates per night at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach hotel:

Single occupancy: $140
Double occupancy: $155
Triple occupancy: $170
Quadruple occupancy: $185.

Tax will be added to the rates. The POPL rates are guaranteed from Mon Jan 10 to Sun Jan 16. The POPL rates are also available three days prior and three days after, based on room availability. Reservations can be made through the hotel's reservation department by calling 1-562-491-1234 or 1-800-233-1234, or via Hyatt's reservation website for POPL'05. To get the POPL rate via the phone, mention that you are in the group with the name "ACM". Hyatt's reservation website for POPL'05 automatically offers the POPL rate.

The cut-off date is December 21, 2004; reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be handled based on availability at the hotel's prevailing rates and will be credited to the guest room block of POPL'05 (please mention the group name "ACM" even if you book after December 21, 2004).

News as of Dec 22, 2004: We are now past the cut-off date for getting the POPL rate. We oversold our room block by about 100 nights. I thank the hotel for making extra rooms available at the POPL rate in the last week before the cut-off date. There may still be a few rooms available at the POPL hotel at their prevailing rates.
